Blasting Through - Sonic Mania Tribute Sprite

I recently got Sonic Mania for the Switch about a week ago, and with the recent announcement of Sonic Mania Plus, I figured a tribute piece should be in order. While it may look like a modified sprite from the game itself, this sprite is actually built from scratch! I tried my hand at making a more dynamic pose than usual - I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. 

Given Sonic's recent track record, having a solid Sonic game is actually something to celebrate. I haven't gotten through the whole game yet, but it's easily one of the top games in the series! Not to mention the soundtrack...man oh man, that soundtrack.
